Bali has quickly become the new hotspot for honeymooners, and rightfully so! The place is so beautiful with such a coupley vibe that you’ll never want to leave. If you’re thinking of going to Bali for your honeymoon, you might want to follow this 6-day itinerary (2 days in Ubud, 2 days Gili Islands and 2 days in Seminyak) for a romantic, relaxing and picturesque vacation with your better half.

Land at the airport and head straight to Ubud. If you’re interested in visiting waterfalls, watching the sunset over rice fields and visiting some amazing temples, then you’re going to love this place! We recommend staying at a resort or Airbnb amidst the forests; after all, that is the beauty of Ubud. You can go for a romantic candlelight dinner by the rice fields or head to a bar with some live music!

After a good night’s sleep, start your day tour in Ubud. Head to one (or more) of the temples that you really want to see followed by the coffee plantations to sample some authentic Luwak coffee. Then, make your way to the Tukad Cepung waterfall. Don’t forget to visit the Bali swing at the famous Tegallalang rice terraces– you’ll get some really cute pictures with a jaw-dropping backdrop. You could also head to the sacred monkey forest to get up and close with monkeys!

Start your day with a rejuvenating spa at your resort (Don't forget to book an appointment for this a day in advance). After the spa, head to Padang Bai port to take a ferry to the Gili islands. These islands are right out of a postcard and a honeymooners’s paradise! Hues of blue and green water, sculptures underwater, white sand beaches, pink skies when the sun sets and a panoramic view of paradise! There are 3 Gili islands, so you can decide which one you want to stay at depending on the resort you book. Gili Trawangan is the more popular one – known for its nightlife, scenic spots and beautiful beaches. We would recommend staying at Gili Meno since this island isn’t frequented much by tourists, making it the perfect place for you to spend some alone time with your partner. If your idea of the perfect honeymoon involves beautiful sunsets, pristine clear blue waters and a whole lot of privacy, then Gili Meno is the island for you.

Just relax on the island! If you’ve booked a resort with a beach, then you don’t even need to leave the property. But be sure to go snorkelling here – it’ll be an experience of a lifetime. Beautiful sculptures underwater, shipwrecks, stunning corals and clear waters. Need we say more? You can also hire a private boat to take you island hopping – sailing along the bright blue waters with a bottle of champagne watching the sunset… how perfect does that sound? They also screen movies by the beach at night – the perfect way to unwind and relax with your partner on cozy bean bags!

It’s time to head to the party. Seminyak is the main party place in Bali, so of course, you should head to either Seminyak, Canggu or Kuta. Book a private villa with a private pool – there is an abundance of villas in Seminyak and you can book one within any budget. Here, the nightlife is really happening! Be sure to check out the famous nightclubs which are on till the wee hours of the morning. If you’d prefer a relaxed lounging scene by the beach instead, head to one of the beach clubs and enjoy the sunset while sipping on your favourite cocktails. La Plancha is also a famous place to catch the sunset!

Slowly becoming a popular tourist spot, Nusa Penida is a beautiful place you can head to for the day. You have to get to the Sanur port and take the ferry to get there. Once you do, keep in mind that the roads are a little rough, so make sure you rent a car to take you around. The places you should be absolutely visiting here are Kelingking beach, Angels Billabong and Diamond beach.

Spend your last day in Bali trying some amazing Vegan cafes around. Eat a hearty meal, shop a little, and enjoy all the little things this beautiful place has to offer. Also, don't forget to catch your last sunset here on this trip!
If you haven’t extended your stay by now, it’s time to head back to your hometown! You’ll be planning your next Bali vacation on the flight; we can pretty much guarantee that. Ps, do your research before going, there are some great airbnb’s you can book in advance for good rates, and don’t forget to check out places you want to visit on Instagram! If they look that good in photographs, imagine how pretty these places, islands and views are in person!
