Every love story is our favourite. But we simply can't deny that we are a little more biased towards love stories that started brewing in college, just like that of Malavika and Aathithya! The two met each other when she was posted with him as an intern during her orthopaedic rotation. Chemistry happened, sparks flew and the two finally ended up tying the knot in a gorgeous, mesmerising intimate ceremony in Kerala! And trust us when we say that it’s one of the most beautiful weddings we have seen!
The couple had always wanted to host a close-knit wedding for themselves, graced only by their dearest friends and family members. Reminiscing all the fun fondly, bride Malavika says, "All the functions were really memorable for us. Especially the sangeet and the wedding. The sangeet went on till 4 in the morning and we honestly didn’t expect anyone to be up, bright and early for the Haldi the next morning! We were so surprised and happy that everyone turned up. The only give away to the previous night's madness being the sunglasses on the face of every guest! As for the wedding, Aathithya and I wanted the wedding mandap to be by the backwaters. As the number of people in the mandap increased, we suddenly felt like it was moving! Adding to the overall adventure would’ve been a floating mandap that literally floated away! Luckily it stayed in place and everything was as perfect as we wanted it to be!" A classic, timeless and elegant affair, every ceremony of the wedding reflected the couple’s tasteful aesthetics. The decor, styled and executed by The A-Cube Project was a stunning amalgam of modern day design with traditional attributes.
Reproducing the beauty and aura of the celebration are these stunning pictures clicked by Varun Suresh. While each frame evokes a feeling of admiration for the well-styled and crafted ceremonies, it also makes you feel like you are a part of all the festivities happening in each picture. Have a look!
