Sanjana and Amrit – A big fat Indian wedding in Bali

Published by - Jui | 9 minute read

Sanjana and Amrit’s wedding was nothing short of a grand and opulent big fat Indian wedding. In fact, #TheSambaWedding might have just given the term ‘big fat Indian wedding’ a whole new meaning. Tasteful decor, extravagant glam, fabulous entertainment and essentially a spectacle to remember, the grand wedding that took place in Bali is pretty much wedding goals!

The wedding functions

#TheSambaWedding had three main functions – a majestic sangeet which was nothing short of a red carpet event, a gorgeous outdoor wedding where the venue seemed to stretch over acres and acres and finally a formal reception which was followed by a hip and happening after-party, with outfit changes of course.

The theme

Each function had a grand theme, and we would have expected nothing less from this extravagant wedding. From dance performances by choreographers to celebrity appearances, and of course some amazing dances by family and friends, the sangeet witnessed it all. The day wedding had hues of cream, gold and beige – a timeless classic in our opinion. The bride made her solo entry under a gorgeous phoolon ki chaadar. What a spectacular wedding indeed – hosted in a spacious lawn with a huge mandap. The grand reception decor had hues of royal blue and gold, and there were dancers, performers, live singers and anchors to provide entertainment for the celebratory evening. The attention to detail at each event was unmatchable.

The planning

All the planning was done by the couple and their families with a lot of help from their event planning team, Innaz Communique.

Favourite event

It would probably be impossible for the couple to pick just one event from this grandeur of celebrations. But with the amount of attention Sanjana’s bridal entry got on social media, it’s safe to say that she probably loved everything about her wedding, especially her grand entry and breathtaking look.
